Relationship with Jesus

“As the Father loved Me,
I also have loved you;
abide in My love.”

(John 15:9 NKJV)

“No longer do I call you servants,
for a servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends,
for all things that I heard from My Father
I have made known to you.”

(John 15:15 NKJV)

But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood,
a holy nation, His own special people,
that you may proclaim the praises of Him
who called you out of darkness
into His marvelous light.
(1 Peter 2:9)

Therefore you are no longer a slave but a son,
and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ. (Galatians 4:7 NKJV)

But as many as received Him,
to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name.
The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit
that we are children of God.
(John 1:12 NKJV) (Romans 8:16 NKJV)

But I say to you,
I will not drink of this fruit of the vine
from now on until that day
when I drink it new with you
in My Father’s kingdom.”

(Matthew 26:29 NKJV)

For no one ever hated his own flesh,
but nourishes and cherishes it,
just as the Lord does the church.
For we are members of His body,
of His flesh and of His bones.
“FOR THIS REASON
A MAN SHALL LEAVE HIS FATHER AND MOTHER AND BE JOINED TO HIS WIFE, AND THE TWO SHALL BECOME ONE FLESH.”
This is a great mystery,
but I speak concerning Christ and the church.
(Ephesians 5:29-32 NKJV)

“Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory,
for the marriage of the Lamb has come,
and His wife has made herself ready.”
And to her it was granted to be arrayed in fine linen, clean and bright, for the fine linen is
the righteous acts of the saints. Then he said to me, “Write: ‘Blessed are those who are called to the marriage supper of the Lamb!’ ” And he said to me, “These are the true sayings of God.”
(Revelation 19:7-9 NKJV)

Sample Prayer

I am thankful that I am Your child and heir, and You call me a friend. I feel so special. As a believer, I am filled with joy when I spend time with You in prayer and pondering Your word. Thank You for loving me. You promise not to drink the fruit of the vine until we (the church) are with You in Your Father’s kingdom, which is so personal and loving. As Your bride, You desire a relationship with us (born again believers). I praise You and love You.
