Fearful

I will say of the LORD,
“He is my refuge and my fortress,
my God, in whom I trust.”

Psalm 91:2 NIV

I sought the LORD, and he answered me.
He delivered me from all my fears.
Psalms 34:4 NIV

The Spirit you received does not make you slaves,
so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship.
And by him we cry, “Abba, Father.” The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children. Now if we are children, then we are heirs–heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory.
Romans 8:15-17 NIV

God didn’t give us a spirit
that makes us weak and fearful.
He gave us a spirit that gives us power and love.
It helps us control ourselves.
2 Timothy 1:7 NIrV
